Our Mission

Congratulations!

Our Mission

Our "mission" is to see women from all age groups and walks of life, as key players at the political table on national, state and local issues.

Please join and share with us as we support our Republican legislators and leaders who believe in the Constitution and the Republican Principles.

A Message from Our President

SOUTH BAY REPUBLICAN WOMEN FEDERATED
Rosaline Turnbull, President

PLEASE JOIN US!!!

South Bay Republican Women Federated meetings are held on the second Thursday of most months at 11:00 a.m. at the Torrance Double Tree Hotel.  Members attend from all South Bay cities including El Segundo, Hawthorne, Gardena, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Torrance, Lomita, San Pedro and Palos Verdes to hear current, informative and educational topics promoting the principles of the Republican Party. (Note* Due to Covid restrictions some meetings will temporarily be held virtually).

SBRWF does:

  • Outreach to community members through a booth at the Torrance Farmers Market.
  • Supports charitable organizations and donates to worthy causes within the communities.
  • Have an exciting team sharing with the schools about scholarships offered to high school seniors. Recipients then share their essays with members and families at our June meeting.
  • Support the College Republicans at UCLA and USC by attending their meetings at the college and give each a donation.
  • Endorse the National Federation Republican Women Education and Literacy Program through the MELP Program making book donations to local schools.
  • Support Veteran projects throughout the year. Members have supported USO at LAX and their director shared how that organization takes care of Veterans arriving and departing from LAX. Members also support 4 Paws 4 Patriots and Wreaths Across America.
  • Invite Republican candidates running for office to speak at the Club Member Meetings.
  • Provide members information on current legislation so they can make calls, write letters or just be informed.
  • Provide a Meet and Greet for all new members to get to know the board members.

Rosaline Turnbull, SBRWF President

The Republican Principles that We Believe

REPUBLICAN PRINCIPLES . . .

We see in our Republican Principles, the changeless brand of wisdom, given to us by our Founding Fathers. Times change, but not the soundness of these principles:

WE BELIEVE: The first function of government is to protect the liberty and dignity of the individual.

WE BELIEVE: Good government provides equal opportunities, not equal rewards.

WE BELIEVE: In limited government and government by “Consent of the Governed.”

WE BELIEVE: The solvency of our economy is fundamental to the strength of our nation and survival.

The Federation of Republican Women has both a National and State Structure. State Federations that are chartered under the auspices of NFRW run under their own set of bylaws. Those bylaws, although independent, may not be in conflict with bylaws set by NFRW.

The California Federation of Republican Women (CFRW) is a grassroots political organization with more than 10,000 members and 140 local clubs. We continue to build on the GOP’s legacy as the Party that pioneered and championed women’s suffrage...[READ MORE]

The Party of Diversity

The Republican Party is the Party of Diversity

'The stars of 2020 are the Republican women.'

The days of left-wing stereotyping of the Republican Party as an exclusive domain for old white men are over. The Republican Party is a diverse party, and its impact is growing because of it. Republican officeholders include more women, more minorities and more veterans than ever before.
