We see in our Republican Principles, the changeless brand of wisdom, given to us by our Founding Fathers. Times change, but not the soundness of these principles:
WE BELIEVE: The first function of government is to protect the liberty and dignity of the individual.
WE BELIEVE: Good government provides equal opportunities, not equal rewards.
WE BELIEVE: In limited government and government by “Consent of the Governed.”
WE BELIEVE: The solvency of our economy is fundamental to the strength of our nation and survival.
The Federation of Republican Women has both a National and State Structure. State Federations that are chartered under the auspices of NFRW run under their own set of bylaws. Those bylaws, although independent, may not be in conflict with bylaws set by NFRW.
The California Federation of Republican Women finished the 2020 year with 11,166 members total; welcomed 3,553 new members and 3 new clubs; and out of 135 clubs, 74 clubs reached or surpassed 100% over last year's Per Capita total. They also had the most members of any club in the United States.
CFRW is calling on all CFRW members to help
get the signatures needed to recall Governor Newsom.
The Sacramento Superior Court granted a 120 day extension to continue gathering signatures to get a recall of Gavin Newsom on the ballot. The new deadline is now March 17, 2021.
We have much to celebrate in 2020. Founded in 1925, we are celebrating 95 years of history in California. In addition, 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the US Constitution.
The California Federation of Republican Women (CFRW) is a grassroots political organization with more than 10,000 members and 140 local clubs. We continue to build on the GOP’s legacy as the Party that pioneered and championed women’s suffrage...[READ MORE]
The days of left-wing stereotyping of the Republican Party as an exclusive domain for old white men are over. The Republican Party is a diverse party, and its impact is growing because of it. Republican officeholders include more women, more minorities and more veterans than ever before.
“I want to thank the National Federation of Republican Women for your hard work and dedication. You’ve helped elect thousands of Republicans from all across the country.”
– Ronald Reagan
The NFRW Americanism program seeks to promote respect for the American Flag and foster allegiance to the United States and its customs and institutions.
Republican women’s clubs help carry out this mission in their local communities through educational and inspirational programs and projects.
Over the past 60 years, the NFRW and its members have donated thousands of books each year to libraries, schools, hospitals and other public institutions through our Mamie Eisenhower Library Project (MELP). Since 2002, Federation members have donated more than 300,000 dictionaries to school children through the Dictionary Project.
The National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) established the Caring for America program in 1999 to encourage state federations and clubs to actively participate in at least one community service program. Caring for America is based on the belief that problems can be solved most effectively through the generosity and combined energies of individual citizens.
The National Federation of Republican Women's mission is to mobilize Republican women in support of local, state and federal campaigns.
In the critical 2020 election cycle, the NFRW played a key role in races up and down the ballot by contributing millions of grassroots volunteer hours of door-knocking, phone calls, and other campaign activities.
